If you’re looking for local designers, Macau Fashion Gallery is a one stop shop where you’ll find several local designers and brands ranging from apparel to accessories. The location also plays host to pop-up shops, exhibitions and local design scene fringe events.

Started by a local couple, Vintage Market is a lovely little boutique stocking handpicked vintage finds from all over the globe. Retro and whimsical, the store with bright yellow metal gates is the materialization of the owners’ personalities, and overall has a Japanese-American aesthetics to their pieces. Visit for both the decor and shopping.

Founded by three young local creatives, O-Moon sounds like Macau said in Cantonese. Specializing souvenirs and accessories, the brand’s designs are all inspired its home city’s colours and cultures. Apart from functional items like umbrellas and blankets with original illustrations, visitors can also carry a piece of Macau home with them with bags, scarves and small leather goods.

La Mode Désir
Founded by Kitty Ng, La Mode Desir is not only a Macanese fashion label, but a production house for other local talents. Armed with decades of experience in the fashion industry, Kitty’s label continues to be showcased in Macau Fashion Week year after year. Her boutique not only stocks her collection of feminine apparel, but one of a kind shoes and clutches to complete the look.

Before Chantelle Cheang’s label began her journey with local fashion label Chavin, her life was already intertwined with fashion through styling for movies. Her designs and aesthetics exudes retro elegance, but always with an extra touch of modern tailoring and feel. Focused on creating smart-casual evening gowns, Chavin is a must-see for any modern women.

Another notable Macanese fashion label is Nega C., with an aesthetics inspired by London’s street culture.
