One of Macau’s unmissable landmarks since its completion in 2001, Macau Tower was inspired by Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower and peaks at 338 metres over the peninsula’s southern skyline. Despite its business-oriented name the attraction combines all kinds of other facilities such as dining options, telecommunications, entertainment, shopping and sport; its bungee jump is the highest in the world at 233 metres and offers a 200 km/h adrenalin rush. Many visitors to Macau know it for its distinctive form, and as the most popular observation deck in the territory, with its panoramic views over the South China Sea.
