Top 10 Destinations for Families in Macau

By Doris Lam

On the outside, Macau may seem like the textbook city on where not to take a family vacation but in reality, there are hidden gems around the city that are kid-friendly while still being fun for adults. From Batman Shows to outdoor ice skating rinks, here are the top ten family-friendly stops in Macau.

Studio City
If you and your little ones are equally obsessed about DC Comics, this should be your first stop in the city. Studio City Macau is a 32,000 square foot playground for kids of all ages. Before letting the kids go loose at the playground, head over to the Golden Reel, the world’s highest figure-8 ferris wheel and Batman Dark Flight, a 4D flight simulation ride.

Let your kids loose in this humongous playground and it may prove impossible to get them to leave! Packed with popular Warner Bros., DC Comics, and Hanna-Barbera favorites, they can run wild in multiple zones of character-inspired fun. They’ll climb, swing, and jump to heroic heights at DC Comics Super Hero Action Arena; acquire behind-the-wheel expertise at the DC Comics Super Hero Raceway; and travel to the nerve center of arcade gaming at Warner Bros. 4D Hypercade – to name just a few. Photos with your favorite Looney Tunes characters, snacks, a cartoon cinema, and a birthday venue also await, giving you and your kids countless hours of fun!
